Personally I think those feature ideas sound good (and other than losing track of time – only God knows why I’m up at this hour.

I’ve been caught up with other things this past week and have not been able to read most of what you’ve posted this past week. Maybe I’ll be able to catch up. Maybe I’ll start singing opera. Maybe I’ll actually find Macy Gray tolerable to listen to. Maybe I’ll actually find the “Nightmare on Elm street” and “Scream” movies containing of substance and worth watching….

On second thought, I’ll start with something based in reality (although, once I warm up – I’m no bad with opera) and just try to catch up on your posts.:-)

Jason, I love everything you write! I’m especially interrested in blogging through the old Testiment. I don’t always agree with everything you have to say but you bring so much food for thought and certainly originality to the web. I hope someday you sit down and write to publish – I think you have it in you.

I’m constantly surprised what interests me in other bloggers, but it almost always begins with a topic the blogger is passionate about. Whatever you do, pay attention to that fire in your belly and run with that.

I am encouraged to find some other Vineyard guys to bang heads with…

To often web dialogue has no ‘dialogue’ to it, I think this is because there is rarely skin in the game…

I don’t really care what you do. I will be around for it…

Having said that, my own interests are quite practical. Church and culture, Kingdom and gospel, any way you help me grapple with these, you help me! I like all of the ideas.

Jason-I agree with Steven. You are blazing trails and vineyard pastors and pastors at large need to hear your insights, chew on them, and be shaken up a bit. I know I have been. Keep blogging away!

I’m with Matt, but I’d enjoy some solid interviews with a diversity of missional leaders. Too few writers using their blogs to bring others into the spotlight.

of course i endorse all of the above. i think you have a true gift of humility in highlighting what is happening elsewhere and interviewing others. i also know you to be a great thinker, and one who invites others to help you think through issues that have come up. i really appreciate both of those aspects that happen here at pastoralia…

Jason, here’s the thing. You’re smart. You write well. You’re thoughtful. You’re not rude. You love the Lord. You’re on the front lines doing stuff. I’ve only come across your blog in the last little bit, but I really like it. I think the quality is great. We need short posts from you as well as longer ones. You pick the subject, but I do really value your views on Vineyard and missional.

Similar to Steven and Ramon, I love the dialogue with folks around the world via the comments. You seem to have a knack for getting folks to talk, so keep on keeping on.

Thank you all for your input and very kind remarks! I think the dialogue we sometimes enjoy here is a strength of the site, so I hope to continue to foster that.

To Rick – I have a friend who asked me recently if I was capable of writing anything less than 1000 words (!). That’s good advice…I’ll do my best : )
