I showed this to Brogan and he kept asking if you tube had any (Star Wars) Clone Wars and when a jedi was going to slice your car in half?. LOL! Don't take it personally.:-P Apparently he thought this video was more of an action, drama type.

Notice how every time the camera points in the drivers direction you can see Jenell twirling her hair…always twirling her hair. After watching Jenell do this for 20 yrs now when ever I think of her and picture her in my mind this is always how I see her, twirling her hair:)

LOL! Yes I did notice! I was going to comment on that but I figured why point out the obvious. If it makes Jenell feel better, I was twirling my own hair as I was watching it as it's been a habit of mine since I was a kid. (I was even stood against the wall as a punishment in kindergarten because my teacher thought I played with it too much – out of her character but it happened. Wonder if Jenell ever went through that – hmmmm).

As I watched I thought wow this is really bad. Seeing yourself on camera shows you how silly you are. When I was little I never got in trouble for it but I did, and do, get made fun of sometimes. About ten years ago I wanted to stop. I felt like it was kinda like sucking my thumb or something. I tried but I had to come to the realization that twirling my hair makes me feel better. The fact of the matter is I like doing it. I don't know why I started or why I continued but here I am 38 and still putting knots in my hair. When I was a little girl my mom would put my hair in spongy curlers and if she didn't leave a little piece out I couldn't go to sleep. I guess I could have taken up smoking or some other dirty habit but I have yet to hear of someone killing themselves by hair twirling. I have wondered if I will get carpel-tunnel

I HAS occurred to me that taking up this habit could be a good thing and even a remedy for things like; over eating, smoking, biting your finger nails, (I suggested this to Drew) drinking to much……………. Unfortunately I don't think it would help with talking too much……………..which is what I always got in trouble for:P

I have to add that I picket up this habit my self from Jenell but I had to stop………………..I don't have enough hair:(

I've thought that way about it too but then I just thought "I'm an adult and if I want to do it – I WILL!" LOL! Besides, I usually jokingly tell people (if they poke fun – which is a rarity) that they're just jealous because they don't have soft hair like mine to play with and that they're not that talented (when it comes to purposely twisting my hair in knots and successfully getting them out. Though every now and then it backfires on me)

Yes, I do agree that it makes you feel better. It's like a calming affect. My earliest memory is from kindergarten but I think it started before then but only God knows when.:-) Maybe we should start our own group. "The Sisterhood of the Twirling Hair Unites" – or TSOTHU….ok, I'll work on it.:-P haha….
